Getz looks at the roughly twenty characteristics of a Godly man that he pulls out of Titus and 2nd Timothy.
The book is very practical and an easy read. The chapters are short and the language is very accessible.
The book would make an exceptional Bible study for a group of men, or a self-study for any man.
I would especially encourage this book for anyone involved in any level of church leadership or service, or anyone contemplating being involved in the future. Strict adherence to the principles Getz lays out in the selection of our church leadership (both lay and clergy) would eliminate essentially all church problems that ever occur. Adherence to these principles in the lives of all men would essentially solve all of society's ills.
A worthwhile read. It's short, easy, and does not go deep into any subjects, but for a bible study or a personal devotional, it would be great.

"I enjoyed reading this book" may not be the correct terminology to describe this book. But, by practicing the principles here, your life will certainly be changed for the better.

I purchased this book for a young man. He said he is reading it and enjoying it very much.
