Just a question:

Has anyone ever had a stamp on a pbs requested/mailed book with the wording as in the subject line? I got one marked thus yesterday out of Austin TX. If I am repeating something that has been covered before, I apologize. However, I am curious.

Thanks for any clarification...just wondered if any media mail parcel is 'subject to inspection'...

The media mail stamp used in my post office is worded that way.  It doesn't mean that the particular package has been inspected or is slated for inspection.

Hi, Kristen.

I understood that part, but hadn't gotten this particular stamp on any packages in the past. Following the link Lisa posted above and reading thru the last thread on the same subject,  I am now a lot clearer on everything.

Thanks for the post.  :)

Every book I send out has that stamped on it, since I take them to the post office to mail them.
