I love shark stories, JAWS was my favorite as a kid..

This book is hard to put down.

This fish makes "Jaws" look like a family pet and a minature one at that -
was interesting enough that I read it a second time when I started running really short of reading material

Love this book. Gave my mom nightmares and my brother couldn't finish it because it scared him so bad, but I love it! Edge of your seat read.

It was a very quick and light read. I did enjoy it, but I felt the author kind of crammed some stuff in towards the end of the book. It was a good break book from the type of genre I have been reading.

I loved Meg. Much more terrifying than Jaws. Very quick and reasy read.

Hopefully this will be made into a movie.

An exciting, fast moving adventure of the leviathan of the deep. Well written with characters that you can get your teeth into.

just started reading this book series... It's absolutely amazing! I love how detailed the author is, in every aspect of the book. When the Meg attacks a dino, Steve gives every detail, just like painting a picture. I could see it come alive as he explained it. It is a violent book, with at least 6 people dying, and all the deaths are described in detail. But it makes the story unforgettable. There is also a little bit of language, but when you've got a book this good, you learn to look over the cussing. I can't wait until the movie comes out! Pretty sure it'll be rated R!! But of course, who doesn't like to watch a horror movie every once in a while. Steve Alten is a great author, and I can't wait until I order his next book in the MEG series!

Touted as "Jurassic Shark", Meg is a 60 foot, 30,000 pound prehistoric shark - kinda like a great white but much hungrier and nastier. This book is amazing...way more entertaining and awe-inspiring than Jaws. Meg is one mean mother attacking and killing anything that moves - surfers, whales, even submarines. This is an action packed adventure which grabs you on page one and doesn't let go.

Jaws meets Jurassic Park. A prehistoric shark (Carcharodon megalodon) is hiding out in the deepest part of the ocean when she is disturbed by divers and starts to run a muck.

If you like ocean-going sci-fi thrillers, this is a good read. Parts of it are a little hokey, and some of the characters are a bit one-dimensional, but it's fast-paced and entertaining. The Meg is definitely one baaaaaaaaaad fishy, and a lot of people end up as unwilling fish food.
It ain't JAWS, but it ain't bad!

This was exciting (though I did sort of know what would happen from reading _Meg: Primal Waters_). It was also, in many ways, similar to that book, but it was exciting nonetheless. It was certainly a fast read. I wish I had read them in order...
