Has anyone else started to read this and went "What the Heck?" I am not a stupid person but the more I read the more I feel lost. Can anyone shed light on this book? Is it worth finishing?

I really liked it.  So many YA books I can tell where they are heading.  This was a nice surprise.

I didn't like it at all.  I finished it, it took me over a month.  I had the second one but traded it.  The same with Evernight, ewwww.  The plots were

boring  and I just couldn't care less about any of the characters.

I read the first. I liked it. I read the second. It was a bit better than the first. I tried reading the third and I gave up about 100 pages in. I just didn't care to know what happened. I couldn't get invested and with so much else to read, it's not worth it to me to force myself to finish a book I am just 'meh' about.

I loved all 3, although the 2nd one was the most difficult for me to get into, because it seemed a little bit peripheral.  Of course, turns out that's not exactly true....  But this was a keeper for me.
