I'm reading Demon Moon right now and have read all of the other books and stories up to this. I was just wondering what everyone else thought about her. I really love her ideas and characters but there are a lot of things happening in her books and sometimes I get confused. lol  Her books and stories are not ones that I can lightly read.  I have to be present at all times, concentrating on all of the words or I get lost. I'm a bit of a skimmer so this has been frustrating for me. I realize that I shouldn't skim but sometimes I just do. That might be why I forget what a book was about a month later sometimes. lol  This hasn't deterred me from wanting to read her books but I can get through them as fast as others and I'm now wishing I wouldn't have been so hasty in trading her books. They are ones I should read over or at least the last one before reading a new one in the series. ( I do this with the  Blackdagger Brotherhood books.)

I went to her site today and that actually helped. She has done a great job trying to explain how all the stories connect and what has happened so far if you happen to start in the middle of the series.

LOL! I'm the only one in this forum that has read this poor woman's books? I do hope she is able to put food on her table. :D  Well I'll be done with Demon Moon in a couple of days and I'll see if anyone here has it on their WL. Then maybe someone will post with me. I'm feeling lonely on here. lol

I have seen the books, but haven't read any.  It looked interesting, but there are so many good books out there & haven't gotten around to it yet.  Sorry I can't discuss it with you...  yet  Ü

yesterday i spent a chunk of time at Borders, and picked up a big stack of books that i wanted to try out the first bit to decide if i was interested.

Meljean Brook's first Moon book was mostly a maybe for me.  i've read enough good things about it and i didn't dislike the first bit, so i'll pick it up when i find it (or when i eventually get  to the top of the wishlist).

of course, i'm going to end up needing to kill a couple of hours on monday in the same general area, so i've got to try to come up with some more books to try out.  oh darn!  :)

Thanks ladies. :)  I feel better now. She isn't as well known an author as some, that is for sure.  I think I bought the first full book, Dark Angel for the cover. lol  Yeah, I'm shallow.  Her characters seem to be pretty different from many of those paranormal characters out there. I guess that is part of why I like her.

I have read 2 of her books.  Demon Moon and Demon Night.  Like you I thought that there was A LOT going on in her books and sometimes found myself having to reread several parts to make sure I was understanding everthing that was going on.  I am not sure if I will read any more of her books.  I prefered Demon Night over Demon Moon though and have read it a couple of times.

Wow! I would have really been lost had I not read Demon Angel too. That was Hugh's and Lilith's (half demon/half human) story. I'm assuming there are in Demon Night too as they were in Demon Moon.

Now I'm going back and getting the short stories again that fit in, especially Falling for Anthony in Hot Spell which gives us some background on Colin from Demon Moon.

Good to hear Demon Night is good. I'll have to read that soon before I forget everything I read in Demon Moon. lol It sucks getting older.
