Just wanted to say that I had a member here ship me two different books and both times she sent them priority mail and nicely wrapped in bubble wrap.  So nice of her!  I just wanted to put in a complimentary post in her honor.

Plus, the member included a new bookmark!!!

The first thing I thought was "This is so thoughtful!"  The next thing I thought was, "Can you do that and still qualify for media mail?"

Not wanting to rain on anyone's parade -- I think that's a very sweet thing to do.  If the post office inspects the package, would a bookmark be a problem?

I think as long as there isn't any advertising in the package it's ok. But maybe someone from the postal forum would know better.

I had a wonderful member ship a book overnight to me via FedEx (I was absolutely shocked when the man rang my doorbell and handed me the book), and I've had several members wrap books in lovely tissue paper, gift wrap, and adorn them with ribbons.

It's nice to see so many wonderful--and thoughful--people still exist in the world. :)
