I sent a book out to a member who no longer has an active account.  This member never confirmed the delivery, but since I used the service to print paid postage labels, I received credit already.  Should I take any proactive steps to avoid problems?

You shouldn't have to do anything else, when the book "goes lost" PBS will recognize that the member is no longer active.  You will be able to keep your credit.
