I just ordered a book through FIFO. After the book came up, I clicked the 'order more from member' button. It then showed that this member's books are on hold until she comes back.

How could this book that I ordered from her come up if her books are on hold? Should I cancel the order and just wait until later to reorder it?

She may have been putting her shelf on hold when you were ordering the book. Maybe your book request was the last book she could send budget wise.  A lot of people have  postage budget and when they reach it they go on hold.

It wasn't a WL book?   It's possible they unheld to post the WL book and then went back on hold. I do this frequently.  My TBR is out of control and since I can't put just WL books on hold-I put my shelf on hold and then unhold it to post WL books. Sometimes if I have a book that's the only one posted and not WL I will stay off hold for a few days because I know it will get ordered quickly.  Then as soon as it's ordered I go back on hold to avoid WL offers for a bit.

Somehow, PBS took care of this and gave me a new sender. This new sender is one of my buddies! How great is that! It all worked out.

Two of my WL books were posted this am, and when I went to see if she had other books I wanted (prior to accepting the WL books) it said her shelf is on hold. It let me accept the WL books though.

The order may have come in right before they were going to go on vacation. So they may have cancelled the book order because they didn't want to bother with it and PBS would then automatically reorder the book for you.
