Received an odd PM a few minutes ago. I don't know what to make of it. I removed the name.

I got two of these and have reported it to the Team. I believe it was spam of some sort. be careful. I was attacked by the antispyware virus this mornng. Im still cleaning up. nice to have 3 computers.

This also was reported in the CMT forum and lots have received this phishing message. Everyone who receives it should report it to the PBS team.

You can do bulk PMing from your Buddy List. 

The account is suspended or closed now.

But can you do it to non-buddies?  I thought we couldn't.   I really hope we can't.  I want my PBS to be spam free. 

Have also seen several forum posts that look spam like, have been reporting them.

As far as I know, you can only send a mass PM to buddies.

Has everyone who received the PMs had auto-accept on their buddy list? I know mine is and I got two of the PMs.

i thankfully have not recieved any of that kind of PM, but i would delete it.

I know several tour guides received these, and a lot of us have our buddy list on auto accept, so I think Amee's theory is a good one.

I didnt get the saucy little pm that tome refers to but I did get the antispyware virus in February ... and that was a pain.  Kathy do you know if the virus you got today was probably from PBS or ???

I do not have my buddy list on auto request and I did get the spam.

I have no idea where the virus came from. But its going around. And I think if it were back here, more people than me would have gotten it..
