I have standard but was thinking of downgrading to limited.  I don't need a 500 wl--200 is enough.  If I downgrade do I still keep everything else.... I don't want to lose bulletin bd access, or my booklists.

Do my free swaps transfer to the new membership?

Will I still be able to search friends wishlists?

Will I still be able to see how many copies of an isbn are available or wished for?

when you move to limited the number of copies of a book will not be displayed the way it is now, but you can find the number by putting the book title in your reminder list and looking for the title there  and the number of copies will be there.

I was a limited the first year we had to pay. The problem for me was the stress of keeping up with the swaps I had used and how many I had left. I found that for me the full membership works better with the stress of how many swaps I have left removed.

The wish list is not a big deal for me either. I don't receive that many wish list books. I only have about 300 titles on my wish list

I also have no issue with a wish list ( mine is only around 120). It is just about the math for me If you get less than 30 books per year, limited is the obvious choice. If you get more than 50 books per year than standard is the obvious choice. Between 30 and 50 it is a toss up. You can initially elect limited and if you will get more than 50 ungrade for $8.00. What I have done is go limited and renew early as limited when my 30 swaps are done.

i don't need the bigger WL, have under 300 on my list now, but over 100 are for 2 of my daughters so if I downgraded, I would just take off some of their wishes(my daughter who is a teacher has some wished for that she wants as resources for her drama class as well as classics to share in her classroom but I can get those for $1 at the FOL bookstore where I volunteer).

I have been a Standard Member, an A la Carte member and now a Limited member.

No, you will not be able to see how many copies are available.  You will have to put it on reminder list.

Yes, you will be able to see how many wishers.

The number of copies is given on Swapadvd and SwapaCD and it should be the same for all member of PBS.  It's not a perk.

My wl is at 104 even though I can have 200.  In June I will revert back to A la Carte and I will lose 4 spots.

I have limited membership now and will probably be going to ala carte come February. I currently have 41 free swaps.  Will I keep those swaps if I downgrade to ala carte?

I have the same question as Zina. If I understand the terms correctly, we will keep those free swaps until they're used, then we will have to pay the 49 cent swap fee after that. I have had the Limited membership, but I still have 22 free swaps, so I was thinking about going to the Ala Carte and see how it goes. I figure I can always upgrade if I need to. I will miss the forums though, such good information and support is found here.

They always say you get to keep your free swaps.  I have 28 swaps and I sure hope I get to keep them when I go A la Carte.

If you are earning free swaps from buying postage, I believe you keep them when you switch down to Limited.
