Very deep, you'll never get it untill the end and your still left wondering. Very different from the other Vampire Chronicles

Great book, really different from many of Rice's others in the series. I am not a fan of hers, but this one was beautiful. I felt that it changed my perspective of life and religion in many ways. It really is a philosophical piece.

awesome book. if you are into vampires.
Loved this book, may be one of my favorites of anne rice. Gives you a very different opinion of the whole heaven and hell dynamic.
One of my favorites in Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles. This book is one that really makes you think. While it challenged LeStat's (the main character_ very character and everything he knew, it has the ability to do similar to the reader even though the book itself is completely fictional. I HIGHLY recommend it!
