I have to admit I am amazed that I can't seem to get a Message bible here. Wow over 31 diffrent versions but I'm way back on most lists. LOL who would have thought. If anyone has some laying around post please. :)

I don't have a message Bible otherwise I would send you one.  I would just caution you that The Message translation is basically a guy putting the Bible into his own words.  It would only be something I look at to see what he (the translator) thinks.  I would not use The Message Bible as my "go to" Bible, just something to look at to get another perspective. 

LOL my Amplified is my standby for 30 years now. I read "The Book" when my kids were young and saw things in the paraphrase that I missed reading the Bible my normal way a line by line style.

I thought I would try "The Message" as a Grandma and read it as a novel.

My son's fav extra Bible is "The English" my husband loves KJ I know I have a Jerusalm and maybe 2 other translations. I don't understand why I never had a message show up here. :)

Awesome!  What a blessing to be reading the Bible for 30 years.  Have you had any luck finding The Message Bible yet?

LOL no, not used. Found it for for 30$ new at the Book store but not willing to put out that much for something I see as a one read. I hit some of the thrift stores in town today. I guess I'll have family in other towns peak at there used book stores.
