Michael Grumley (1942–1988) was an American writer and artist. Grumley was born in Bettendorf, Iowa. He attended the University of Denver, the City College of New York and the Iowa Writers' Workshop.
He was a member of The Violet Quill. His partner, another member of the Quill, was Robert Ferro. In 1988, the Ferro-Grumley Awards for LGBT fiction were created in his and Robert Ferro's honor.
