I absolutely love this book! John Huntington reminds me of some of the heroes from Linda Howard's older books - like Marc Chastain from Kill and Tell - or Wolf, from Mackenzie's Mountain. They're extremely capable, tough, smart, and caring men that will do anything to keep their women safe. The heroine, Suzanne Barron is terrific as well and makes a good counterpart to John's character. He's a tough warrior, she's a soft hearted, classy, interior designer. I also like the fact that both accept the relationship fairly early on and build on it. This isn't one of those books where the H/H are "fighting the attraction" for 2/3 of the book! Boy is that ever annoying! All I can say is that if you haven't read this book yet, grab it! This one's a keeper!

Ellora's Cave is a publisher of erotic fiction, ranging from X to XXX. This one is a very hot X. Nothing out of line, or kinky, but lots of hot scenes with a strong and silent hero and the lovely lady he falls for. Very believable (not one of the futuristic, fantasy, werewolf, time travel or whatever else themes EC often does), set in the present day. The story is well paced, the dialog is well done and the progression of the plot is good. I never know what to expect from EC, as I have read some of the worst books ever from their line, but this one nicely melds the hot sex and a good story. Recommended.
