I just got through reading "Seven Views of Olduvai Gorge" by Mike Resnick, which I enjoyed.

Does anyone have any suggestions for books by him? Normally, I go for fantasy, but I like science fiction too, as long as it isn't hard sci fi.

I've read his "Santiago" and "Santiago Returns" duology. Scifi, but reminiscent of oldwest/pirate storyline. And that is about all I can actually remember. I really like them though :-D

But I have been following his starship series. It's military space opera, and I quite enjoy it.  The series is

I've also heard a lot of really good things about Kirinyaga. but I haven't had a chance to get to it. Stalking the Unicorn is one of his more popular fantasy novels, too.
