Just curious. No active donation programs. Is this a result of PBS now being a paid service?

The military donation program hasn't been active in a couple of years. I do miss it.

The school donation program is usually active in December or January, if I remember correctly. Pat

There is one school still needing donations. http://www.paperbackswap.com/donations/schools.php#t=adopt_a_school

I hope they get the military donation program back up and running sometime soon.

Some of the credits left with me by departing members are intended for it.

The school program is run in the Fall, starting just before Thanksgiving and running until the schools are full. There is now a set up membership profile where we can gift credits to the school program all year round. Once the program starts, the credits will be applied to the schools.

The programs depend on volunteers organizing them.
