Sam Taggert is a half-Indian, half-white man and for that reason alone he has to return to the ranch he grew up on. When he arrives he finds that, after his mother died, his father re-married twice again and now Sam has a half sister. Little Mary allows her feelings to be known about the way she feels concerning her new brother before he ever gets off of his horse. Sam is shocked about the condition in which everyone on the ranch has had to live and he decides to find someone to look after them. What Sam doesn't count on is the woman he's fetched for the task. Emma is more than he bargained for. Emma has a mind of her own. She wants nothing more than to seek new adventures and if she has to clean and cook to achieve her goals, she will do just that. Since she is the elder sister, however, it is up to Emma to take a husband first.... something that doesn't please younger sister Greta. Emma would be even less amused to have a husband, especially the one that her father wants her to marry. Emma's dream is to become a successful business woman and she has a plan about how it can be done. It's a good plan, all she needed was a chance. When Sam asks her to help his family, she gladly accepts just to get away and start her adventures in business. What Emma doesn't realize is how far her dream will take her, and just how much she has yet to learn about men and trust . Sam has yet to learn that Emma, with all her kindness, sweetness and business head, will not easily be dismissed from his mind or his heart. Neither could know what started out as a business transaction would lead to the adventure of a lifetime!Be Mine, is a love story with heart and soul. Emma and Sam's story is a treasure among romances guaranteed to make your heart flutter and turn you into a hopeless romantic. Cait Logan is a jewel in the crown of today's romance authors!

from the back: She dropped from the tree into his arms like a riipe peach, a fiery russet-haired beauty he wanted to devour. But mountain man Sam Taggart came to the Recht Montana homestead to hire a housekeeper, not find a wife. He was out to make his fortune and needed an heiress by his side, a first-rate hostess with a heart of pure ice. Emma Recht was definitely not what he had in mind - a spirited backwoods beauty with a head for business and passion to burn....
