Miss Julia Throws a Wedding is the third in the Miss Julia series. Many readers hope that the wedding she is throwing would be her own with Sam or one for Hazel Marie and Mr. Pickens. But it is her boarder Deputy Coleman and her lawyer Binkie. They are expecting a baby. The fun begins when Binkie starts questioning if they should get married, the young preacher goes nuts, and the Virgin Mary appears across the street from Miss Julia’s home.

Miss Julia is her most proper self again in this delightful tale. Of course, she has the usual diffculties with unpredictable people, but she works her magic! This book is entertaining and perfect for "before bedtime" reading.

Enjoyed the book - light, easy reading. The only one I wanted to read while I was down with the flu because it was so pleasant and nontaxing.
