This is 4th book in a series Donna Simpson wrote and I've found reading a whole series back to back is very enjoyable. She now writes under Donna Lea Simpson and is into paranormal things which I don't enjoy, prefer regencies.
I have most of this series and over the next few days will list them. Very nicely written. On of the series is signed by the author to a Canadian friend of hers named Cheryl.
Here are the others in the series that I will be listing.I've seen some of the ones I'm missing here on PBS.

1st Lord St. Claire's Angel - I'm pretty sure this is the one with the author's autograph in a first edition paperback.

2nd Lady Delafont's Dilemna
3rd Lady May's Folly

4th Miss Truelove Beakens - I had already read this but enjoyed it the second time around. Ms. Simpson's writing ability grows better as she goes along.

5th Belle of the Ball

6th The Rakes Redemption

(7th don't have this but the last time I looked it is available here - A Country Courtship...I've read it and it's good)

8th A Matchmaker's Christmas - in my opinion, one of her best.

There are 4 more which I think belong to this series but I'm not sure so am not listing them here. I'm going to try to get them and if they go with the series will list them later.

From back cover "The joyous celebrations held in honor of his return from the war are wasted on Wycliffe Prescot, Viscount Drake - as are his mother's gentle reminders that he must now set up his nursery...
A vicar's daughter, True has come to Lea Park with her future vexingly undecided. A proposal of marriage from her father's curate might be the sensible course of action, but True can't resist the...hours...she spends with handsome, brooding Drake...
