Missah is a lion with a great big mane that he doesn't really like at the beginning of this story. His mane falls in his eyes while he drinks from the water hole, so he can't tell if any crocodiles are near. Flies get into his mane, and the little lion cubs like to snuggle in it. None of this makes Missah happy.

Then, after a long refreshing rain, and a nap on a high mountain ledge, his mane is now clean, lush, and rather stunning, Missah decides!
