I was offered a WL book the same day I left for the weekend.  I came home today to an email stating that because I had not responded to the offer within 48 hours, the offer is withdrawn and the book is removed from my Wish List.

However, when I checked my WL the book is still listed.  My position is 1 of 71 but the book is marked "On Hold".  I'm not sure what to do.  I still want the book.  I didn't see any way to remove the hold.  I tried to add the book to my WL, only to be told the book is already on my WL.

How do I go about letting PBS know that I still want the book?

You should be able to click the little box on the left of the book, then click "unhold" at the top of the page.

Peggy, are you sure you didn't have a second version of the book on your wishlist?  Because if you didn't accept the WL offer in time the book would have been removed from your list entirely.

It does sound like a different version of the book. When you got the offer for one version,  all alternate versions that are linked would have been placed on Hold. As Lisa said, checkmark the box and then click on Unhold in all the buttons in the upper right of your Wish List and that should unhold it.

Thank you....all is well.  I never noticed the Hold and Unhold buttons previously as the hold book was way down on the page below the choices and I'd only ever used the buttons for  other things.

Not sure why I didn't think of it.... But thanks for your patience in spite of my ignorance.
