I send and receive quite a few audiobooks on PBS. Today I got an audiobook in the mail that was missing tapes. How should I mark this received? I've never had this happen before. Thanks in advance!

Hm.. I had an audiobook one time where the box had the incorrect number of tapes listed. I listened to all the ones it came with and the story ended. But the box had a cassette number 2 higher than what it actually was. I just wanted to point that out. I guess the way to do it is to mark the book as received w/a problem. Then pm the person and ask for your credit back or see if they have the missing tapes. Last Edited on: 10/24/07 4:47 PM ET - Total times edited: 1 |

Thanks! This one has Tapes 1, 2, 4, 5, 6 and 7. =( Oh well. I understand that these errors can happen. Hopefully I'll get my credits back. |

yeah there's definately one missing there. Mine had like 1-7 but the box said 9 or something like that. The complete story was on the cassettes. Maybe they have the cassette and can just send you the one that's missing. |

Thanks Mary! Either way would be fine with me. It looks like this set may have been purchased at a yard sale or a FOL sale because it has $1.00 written on it. I know how easy it is to buy an audiobook without double-checking ... I've almost done that myself. |

I'm so worried about sending one out with missing cassette or CD that I check them like 4 times before I finally package them up. Once before I post, once when it's ordered and then a couple more times before I mail them. But I'm a touch OCD. |

You want to be sure when there are two credits on the line! I always wrap mine extra fancy! |
