I think I already know the answer to this question, but I'll ask anyway for verification.

Last week I ordered a hardcover book from Amazon with the intention of posting it here on PBS when I finished reading it (it is a WL book).  When I received the book, I noticed that the very first piece of blank paper in the book had been cut out.  You can tell from some of the stickers and marks that this books used to be a library book.  So I think the first page was cut because it may have had some information about the library on it, and it was just easier for them to cut the page out instead of marking through a bunch of stuff.

My question is whether or not the book is still postable.  I think it is postable just because the page wasn't a text page.  However, I did want some verification before I put it on my bookshelf.

I recall seeing posts here about this kind of thing before.  Most said it was fine because it wasn't a text page.

I agree postable, but I would write a PM to the requester as not everyone feels as I do.

It is postable since the missing page is not a text page, but you do run the risk a getting a receiver that will mark it received with a problem because there is a missing page anyway.

The library  docs here at PBS even suggest doing this when the previously blank flyleaf has had a personal inscription written on it so yes, It's postable.
