Major Peter Newman, U.S. Marines, was a highly decorated hero, content doing his job-leading his troops into harm's way. He was good at it too. But now the White House has other plans for him. He has been handpicked to hunt down and eliminate terrorists before they attack the United States with weapons of mass destruction. This book is hard back and comes with the jacket. Book is in excellent condition. Not from a smoke free enviroment however books are kept in a closet on shelves they do not smell of smoke according to a non-smoker that I have asked.

Really enjoyed the book. North's including himself as a character in such a "real world" setting was both refreshing and thought provoking. You not only thought "this could have really happened," you also thought "hey, is he trying to tell us about something that really happened?" A really good book.
