My 14 year old son absolutely loves this book. We have had it for a couple years now and it still gets pulled out and looked over regularly. Periodically an item will come up in conversation and our son will say "oh that's around because of a mistake" and give us the history of the item, can't ask for better learning then that.

I got this book for my daughter because she always feels bad about making mistakes. This book shows that sometimes mistakes results in a good thing. My reluctant reader loves this book.

Funny stories about how we got things like popsicles. My high school kids found this irresistible, but younger kids could read it too (and their parents!)
