A quick read with plenty of nostalgia. Humor throughout with a serious vein running with the story line. I'd recommend this book.

Highly unusual, brash coming-of-age novel of a young girl. I enjoyed this book for its sassy, intelligent girl with insights on life and relationships far beyond her age.

I love this book! It manages to be totally hilarious, yet thought provoking at the same time. If you grew up in the 60's or 70's you will really enjoy this flashback.

A quick read, and an engaging tale about a little girl trying to find her place and understand the world around her. The story isn't deep or laden with meaning, it's just a good story written fairly well.

An enjoyable and unusual coming-of-age story. Perfect if you are or were the "outsider" child.
