From the first painful recognition of a problem, through the agonizing search for answers, the Christophers tell of years of frustration, jostled between hope and despair and how, in the words of Bill Christopher, they "somehow managed to have a lot of fun along the way."
Wonderful for families facing challenges to help their handicapped children. Well written, and puts everything in a very honest, clear, human. Loving, but not so sugary sweet that it is unrealistic. Hope this will help in the understanding of my grandsons helpers.
