I normally enjoy Mrs. Robert's books but the fantasy was a bit too much for me to buy into and be able to enjoy. Oh well, can't love them all!

I really loved this book. It was so different from some of her other books & nicely done! A lot of Nora's books, especially her older ones, are too "cookie cutter" without a spot of originality in them, but not so with this one. Up until now the Three Sisters Island Trilogy and the In The Garden Trilogy have been my favorites, but this one surpassed them. I really liked the blending of characters from various times & places and the overall theme. This one surprised me with how much I liked it. Well done.
