Entertaining and interesting book about a small population of renegades called "Mountain Men" who eschewed civilization and lived by their wits in the wild.
Hard to believe that the Indian woman whom one of these men, Jeremiah Johnson married was as full of wedded bliss as described in this book since she was taken away from everything familiar to her. Probably without much input into the decision.
Still, it's a "page turner".
