Has anyone read this book? I'm halfway through it and loving it. Was curious on others opinions of the book:)

Personally I didn't like it at all -- thought that it was so "now" that it will not stand the test of time and in a few years will be very dated. But maybe it is an age thing...not being as young as I used to be...maybe it was just "too chic-lit" for me. But good for you, I am glad you are enjoying it! It would be a boring world if we all liked the same things!

It was OK.  Kind-of cute.   But not nearly as good as Austenland.

I think it really is a "now" book also but I kinda like the aspect that alot of her references I know what she is talking about (ex: Sienna MIller cutting her hair short) and I do think it will be forgettable in the future but I think its fun for right now. Every now and then I like to read a easy book in between. I am going to have to check out that Austenland....I had never heard of it. :)

I thought it was okay.  It wasn't a book that I'd read over again, but I didn't feel like I'd wasted a ton of time reading it or anything.  It reminded me a bit of Confessions of a Jane Austen Addict, so if you like Confessions you'll probably like Me & Mr. Darcy, and vice versa.

I actually just came up on the wishlist for Confessions of a Jane Austen Addict and its in the mail so i'm excited to read that book as well. I've heard some good things about that book. I like Me and Mr. Darcy although parts of it were just unrealistic but it was a fast read for me...I like to take a break every now and then and read an easy read:)
