Easy read and fun book. It has action and romance. A light read.
I loved this book. It was jsut as surprising as the movie. each chapter walks between John and Jane's accounts. It is a quick read.
This book was hillarious I just loved it of course I saw the movie first and the book goes right along with the movie except with the book you get to know what the charactrs were thinking the author evens throws in little comments abouts about the movie great read.
I read this book in a couple of hours. It was engaging and fun, if unbelievable. The premise was far-fetched. Still, it provided many chuckles. I enjoyed the book and liked Jane in particular. It's an extreme extrapolation of the reality in most marriages when all the secrets are forced on the table. Pick this one for a rainy afternoon when you can hang out in the recliner, free to read it from beginning to end. Don't expect depth. It's not there. It's just a fluff read.
Jane Smith is charming, sexy and successful, and intelligent,a rare combination of domestic goddess and savvy business woman. John Smith is wealthy daring athletic and smart a guy who drinks his scotch the way he climbed to the top of the construction business:straight up.
Together they seem to be the ideal couple, though lately the sjpark has gone out of their marriage-until they win free sessions with a counselor. What they keep hidden from their therapist and each other, they confide in the journals they've been coaxed to keep.
Jane and John Smith are actully hired assassins working for rival organizations-and their next assignments are.... each other!!! And so begins the kind of cat and mouse game that attracted John to Jane in the first place- a roulette dangereuse that will lead to either a rekindled passion most married couples can only dream about...or cold-blooded murder.
For a novelization of a movie, this was not half bad. I saw the movie before I read the book so I could see the characters in my head.
A cute read and one that was no overly taxing on the brain.
A little confusing as it is narrated by Mr Smith, then Mrs Smith and back and forth. The story was great tho!
This was a great little read. Loved the movie and the dialogue in this book is hilarious!
alright read.... a bit slow at first but kept my interest......
Jane and John Smith are hired assassins working for rival organizations, and are giving the assignment to kill each other.
