Another winner from Hazel Holt featuring middle-aged British writer Sheila Malory. This time out, our heroine is investigating the death of a famous former journalist. Who in the world would want to kill an eightysomething recluse? By contaminating her drinking water, yet.
I like Mrs Mallory and I particularly liked this one. An old friend dies of bad drinking water and only Mrs. Mallory thinks she was killed. As usual, things end up in a truly satisfying way. It is tough to figure out too.
