Originally written in 1949 this eries of books has been constantly reprinted since then. This particular edition was published in 1987. Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle has a fine penchant for loving children, speaking to them like individuals and letting them learn by their own experience (carefully and unobtrusively orchestrated by her)
The stories in this second Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle book are: Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle's Magic, The Thought-You-Saiders Cure, The Tattletale Cure, The Bad-Table Manners Cure, The Interrupters, The Heedless Breaker, The Never-Want-to-Go-to-Schooler, The Waddle-I-Doers.
Perfect for 6-10 year olds
Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle is at it again! She has such fun remedies for the children's ills. She gets them from her deceased husband's treasure chest, and that chest is filled to the brim! The children love her upside house, and the parents love her wisdom. I read this as a child, and learned various manners from it. As an adult and parent, I still enjoy it, and hope that My children learn through the fun.
Great messages for children and adults. These books are a quick fun read.
