This is an excellent book written in true Daphne du Maurier style. It answers all of the "whatever happened to...?" questions.

I don't agree with the other reviews- I really disliked this book. The plot was very forced and unbelievable, and the ending leaves you with nearly as many questions as you started with. Also, the descriptions/fantasy scenes were exaggerated and drug out far more than in du Maurier's style (lead to a lot of impatient skimming on my part).
