I have a favor to ask.  I know it's been a while since I've been in here but I have a friend who found out a couple months ago that her husband has cancer.  He was taking treatments and the tumor, which was in his throat, was almost gone.  He had severe abdominal pains in the middle of the night and they took him to the ER only to find out that his bowels, liver and kidney are all filled with cancer.  They didn't recommend him as a good candidate for anymore treatment or surgery and now my friend is sitting by his bed, which they moved into the living room, waiting for her husband to die.  She's worked hard all her life and recently she was disabled because of an injury.  She doesn't have much money and she doesn't have the internet so I've been sharing my books with her. When all of this happened, she just lost it.  Now she's just trying to want to survive.  She asked me if I knew of a long series she could read that would let her go somewhere else, anywhere else, for short periods.  I thought of the Baxter Family series by Karen Kingsbury.  I have all the books in the series except the first five.  I had them and loaned them out to someone who loaned them out to another person and I know I'll never see them again.  All of that to ask this.  I only have 3 credits and I am so broke I can't even pay attention.  Would someone do a deal with me for the first five books in the series?  Please?  It would mean the world to her at this time in her life.  Think if it were you.  Maybe it WAS you at some point.  Thanks for reading this far.... if you did :)  Love to all and God bless.

I can't thank you guys enough.  I have enough credits to get the books now.  I'm so grateful!  My prayers go out for all of you.  We truly are family when we belong to Christ!
