Another excellent novel by Farmer. I love the characters in this series and appreciate their wit & intelligence. This one kept me captivated until the end. A fun read.

Love the series! Madeilne Bean joins oddball TV show staff and of course comes face to face with murdered. Based in Hollywood but good anyway!

Jerrilyn Farmer's Madeline Bean series is a breath of fresh air. Although Mad Bean and her friends are foodies (she runs a catering business in Hollywood), they aren't snobs and don't overdo the food stuff so much that it makes me feel bad (as some other authors do). The mysteries are fun, fresh, and enjoyable to read. This one is as good the others.

I enjoyed this book a lot! It is part of a series, but I hadn't read the previous books and had no problems enjoying this.

Pepople die every second of the day - that's part of life. But how many time's in the history of the world do we have a chance to create a game show as perfect as Food Freak? Madeline Bean gets to find out in this screwball mystery.

Maddie Bean and her staff are all looking for part time employment during their slow season. Maddie is offered a job as writer for the hot new game show. The head writer can't be found and they need someone to take his place for one last show. Maddie is tickled pink to be working on a TV show, however the missing writer concerns her. And she soon finds out something isn't quite right at the show. So of course she has to do some snooping. A series of deaths all on a Wed night, the same night the snow airs are cause for her concern. She is hit over the head in her office, this after her office is trashed and of course she is using the missing writers office, so she is sure all this has to be connected. Lots of odd characters and inside info on TV producing.

Good book. When you put delicious food, handsome men and beautiful women together with murder and mystery, you've got to have a winner on your hands.
