I really enjoyed the latest Scumble River book; not only did it have an entertaining mystery it further explored the relationships between Skye, Wally and Simon--and made some definite choices about each of those relatioships. Left me eagerly waiting for the next one!

Ninth book in the Scumble River Mystery series. Hard to believe that the stories in this series keep getting better! Skye and her friends spend Thanksgiving weekend at Scumble River's new spa, and uncover a murder and plenty of intrigue revolving around a supposed treasure hidden on the spa property.

Once again a delightful mystery surrounds Skye Dennison and her friends. Nice light read, very funny.

If you want an easy to read book, Denise Swanson is your writer. She is a delight. I've not found a one of her books I haven't enjoyed! She can definitely put a lift in one's spirit even with a dark subject. If you haven't read any of her books, this is your chance!

I find it hard to believe that this series just gets better and better. I have really enjoyed this Scumble River series. This has is funny down home charm, {even if it is supposed to be in Illinois}, and a fast read. But as i find with almost all series, it is nice to read them in order, and to read all of them, but it isn't necessary , in order to enjoy them.

I was disappointed in the last book in this series and didn't even finish it so I wasn't sure about this one, but it's back on track, for me at least, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
