This is a really good book it tells you things about the rails you never hear about. also talks about the FTRA,how they were started and how they evolved. This book really kills any romantic ideaology of riding the rails. The new generation of rail riders aren't harmless harmonica playing hobo down on there luck and infected with wonderlust and a sence of adventure.Todays rail riders are much more sinister.
