I liked this. My first by this author and I will definitely read the others in the series. I liked how each character had a part in the narration, it was interesting. I really want to go wine tasting now! LOL!
First in the Booked for Travel Series. Lynne Montgomery is leading a tour group through the Sonoma Valley. Each member seems to have their own story so there are multiple lines to follow. After a contentious purchasing of a vineyard in Sonoma Valley, Lance Belladuce is found dead. There is more than one person that wanted this young man dead but who actually did it and why. I really enjoyed this book, though the end did come abruptly and I had already discounted the person who was actually the murder. Guess you can never tell. **Amazon Review Written The rest of the books in the series didn't receive very good reviews so I may not continue.
You learn a bit about wine and it was a fun read.
This is a very quick read with lots of wine country info.
Fun series of travel mysteries
Great "cozy" mystery series. This is the first one.
I did not like this book. It looked to be what I normally enjoy in a light mystery, but the fight to remember who was who, and follow lengthy twisting paths of their day that was an interwoven mess in my mind, became way too much. It was more work than I like to do, to call it enjoyable.
Widowed at the age of fifty-two, Lynne Montgomery rediscovered her first love--travel. With the money from her husband's insurance policy, she was able to buy the travel agency that she worked for. But guiding tour groups of well-heeled vacationers becomes more than an educational experience-when murder adds itself to the itinerary...
Enjoyable mystery! I will definitely try others in this series.
This book was interesting, Set in the wine country in CA. Kept me guessing
Owner of a Southern California travel agency takes a tour group on an expensive tour of the wine country -- and finds murder.
