A fascinating look at all the reasons people kill. I did not agree with all of the author's theories, but it's a provocative book, and a quick read. Highly recommend if you are in the criminal justice field.

I read this book when I took Dr. Buss' class at the University of Texas. Great class and a great book! Fascinating topic. If you like this sort of stuff, I would also recommend his other works, which focus on human mating - really insightful work.

This book presents evolutionary theory as to the reason why mankind is so murderous. To prove his point, David Buss shares anecdotal and case studies. An interesting theory with fascinating insights into peoples' murderous fantasies and, in some cases, behaviors.
