This has been my favorite of his books (so far) !!
The stories are so great and it is as if we are right there with him living the experience right along with him and his friend and co-horts!
Extremely fun and enjoyable.
Includes the novel "Handcarved Coffins," a nonfiction novel about an American prairie town reeling from the onslaught of a killer...thirteen short stories...a gossip section with Marily Monroe...and a revealing self-interview in which Capote passes along bits of wisdom he has gleaned from an unorthodox life and a merciless self-examination of it.

This is a beautifully written book by Capote. There are several short stories ranging from chameleons listening to a woman play a piano to a moving story of how Capote wanted to be a girl from an early age. I enjoyed this book a lot more than , "In Cold Blood."
'Wooden Coffins' is a good read and is the only story that is thought to be fictional. What happens when a man is above the law and thinks he is God?. .the story is thought-provoking.
Love this book!!
