Darn, that sounds so familiar!  I thought at first it was the Aurora Teagarden series by .Charlaine Harris.  The series begins with her as a librarian but she soon becomes a real estate agent.  But, I checked them on Amazon and she doesn't wake in a house.  She finds a dead body or two in them but no ghost. 

that sounds familiar to me too but I thought it was more of a romantic suspense than a mystery....or at least the one that I'm remembering which may be a totally different book!
