This book picks up 80 yrs after the end of book 2. The Mystics have found their asylum in Calsandria. I thought everything would be "happily-ever-after". NOT. From the get-go, it's out of the frying pan, into the fire. There is not a single dull moment in the entire book. Just when you think things couldn't get any worse, they do. It's an exciting page-turner with a fabulous ending. I loved the entire series and this book did not disappoint.
Good ending to a series, a very quick read
Really enjoyed this book. These authors never disappoint.
Very good characters, interesting ending.
A good book overall. The action and plot and characters were all better, imo, than the previous 2 books. Tying everything together went well. Lots of intrigue, backstabbing and battles. The best book of the trilogy.
However, the whole "World Binding" prophecy thingy? Well, that seems to be pretty much swept under the rug. Not cool. Lame, Hickmans, lame.
