Starts out a little slow and the skipping around got to me, but it gets a lot better as the plot thickins, so to speak.

The 2nd in the series, it continues in the manner of the 1st. That is, there are 3 worlds, human, fairy and goblin, each connecting with the others via dreams. Once again the characters, places and dialouge are vivid, mesmerizing and entertaining. The goblins provide the comic relief and are just a hoot. The danger level amps up a lot from the first book and several new characters are introduced. The ending was a total surprise. This book is hard to put down and I loved it!

I enjoyed this book more than "Mystic Warrior". Firstly, there was more group action with direction. Everybody didn't seem like they were wandering around with their heads cut off, which was the flavor I got from book 1. Secondly, awareness of what is going on in 3 worlds. Knowing what was happening made it much easier to comprehend. It also made it easier to bear with the constant going from one group to another. Finally, I enjoyed the characters. That helps a lot :-)
