I'am in a true crime rut!! I'm seeking a NEW true crime book , I really have been in the mood for  T.C but all I seem to find are rehashes of old cases rewritten or the Husband /Wife murders and those I really don't enjoy unless there's a real twist to it. I'm open to suggestions!!

Well I hope I can recommend something that might interest you:  First, if you have never read "Helter Skelter" I highly recommend it.  Ann Rule is pretty good.  I like "Every Breath You Take", "And Never Let Her Go"  and "The Stranger Beside Me", however, EBYT is a husband/wife murder.  I posted a  some good books you can check them out and see if your interested.  There is nothing like a good true crime book !  Good luck!

Hi,

my boyfriend reads true crime and he just finished this book  Murder in Mayberry  by  Mary Kinney Branson and Jack Branson.

You might want to check this one out  he says its a case from 2003 and was finally solved in 2007.

Hope this helps

Tammy

I don't know if this will help.... "An Invisible Man" by Stephanie Stanley is about Derrick Todd Lee. It came out in 2006. If you like Corey Mitchell's work he has a new one coming out in June "Pure Murder". I thought that his book "Evil Eyes" was very good, that came out last year also.

I posted that book when I first joined and someone requested it.  If you can get your hands on a copy, that was a very good book.
