Saturday, Dec. 17

  • Dallas@TampaBay - Dallas (If they lost, it would be alot less pressure on my Gmen, but I think they will rebound).

Good grief, what a week!!!!  No one told us this was supposed to be "upset week"!  Picking Green Bay should have been money in the bank.  Cynthia, I'm glad someone took another chance on Indianapolis.  Really didn't think they would win at all this year, but I'm glad they did.  After the game the team announced that Manning would not play in any games at all this year. I wonder if they would have trotted him out there in two weeks if they hadn't won yet.  Probably not.  Surely not worth his health during this ugly season.

I was really interested to see how Tebow would play this week.  I'd heard so much negative talk about his abilities and all.  Well, I have to say I was very impressed.  I didn't see any problems with his throwing or his running game.  If his offensive line could hang on to the football they might have done better.  I predict he is an elite quarterback in the making.  As well as he did however, I am glad that Brady & Co. beat them.    :)

Yes what a week! Glad I was at work & didn't get to see Da Bears game. Seen highlites & it looked pretty ugly. Especially when Knox bent backwards. Heard he had back surgery & could be in rehab for a few months. ARGH! Can't believe I picked Indy either but I'll take the win. Also by never picking the pack I got a win from KC! Yeah! I see u didn't get Tebowed Joy:) But he did get me 22 points in fantasy. Like it matters now since I'm in last place. How 'bout that power outage delay in the 49er game?

What a depressing/shocking bunch of games this weekend.  My guys sure did stink!  I love watching football, but a loss will sure be a Christmas Eve spoiler (and yes, God forgive me,  I feel superficial even saying something like that).  I just pray that the Giants don't leave a lump of coal in my stocking!   Sorry for losses to Cyn and Alex this past weekend and congratulations to Joy again.  Your team gets better and better through the season (which is the way it's supposed to be!).

My body is still thawing out from Sundays game.  Yes, the Bills did manage to lose again.  What is new.  However, I was in good company at the Stadium with a great group of 12. Kudos to all the underdogs that proved that on any given Sunday any team can win.  Sorry for us fans on the losing end.  But that is what makes this game so great.
