Kind of hard to pick this week because teams that are already going to the playoffs may decided to rest as many of their starters as they can.

Dallas does not really have anything to play for. They already have the division and home field throughout the playoffs. A lot of back ups may play. I heard on the radio today that Tony Romo will play quarterback for at least part of the game. Maybe the whole game. There is a chance they may lose that game.

That Giants and redskins game should be good. I don't know if Washington is eliminated or not.

CHarles, Redskins can still get in as a wildcard if they beat the Giants.  Giants have nothing to play for & will probably put backups in for most of game, so they have a very good chance of winning. I actually think they will. I heard about Romo playing too and kind of feel bad for him because I don't think he will get the same starting O-line that Dak has to protect him.  The last time I saw a starting QB play with backups was a few years ago during preseason when Rex Ryan kept Sanchez in with only backups around him for a dumb preseason game against Giants. Sanchez got creamed and was out for the season before the season even started.

WIshing everyone a very Happy New Year!  Still debating whether to go out for dinner or just stay home. Personally, I have never been a great fan of NY's Eve.

This game will be Romo's chance to audition for other teams in the NFL. Dallas will have to get rid of Romo because of his salary. They have some important players that are due for big salaries soon and Romo's salary will be a burden.

Happy New Year to you all!

Good game today, Betty.  They played Eli all the game, I think they really needed to since the game was so close for so long.  I'm so sorry, Cynthia about your whole Bears season.  There is always next year!

Brady played into the late 4th quarter.  Great game against the Dolphins, it was also great to get home field advantage during the AFC playoffs. I think he really wants to win the Super Bowl ~ he wants to see the look on his face when Roger Goodell has to hand over the trophy!   :)

Now watching the last game of the regular season, Green Bay at Detroit.  So far it has been a bunch of nothing, punting back and forth.

Tomorrow is 'Black Monday' for coaches of losing teams.  So far Gary Kubiak is gone from Denver, although he says he is retiring.

Congrats on your Pats clinching and getting that all important home field advantage, Joy! Would not be surprised to see them make it to another SB.  Can't believe the regular season is over.  I'm just glad my Giants made it into the wildcard, it's been years since that happened. I actually picked them to lose in Washington because I have no faith whatsoever in that o-line & I didn't think they'd keep so many starters in.  I did notice they pulled out OBJ but not Eli. lol.   Sorry Cyn about your Bears season. I know that feeling well.

I watched that Packers/Lions until it became obvious GB would win. I was hoping for a Lions W because Packers are on a tear and will be so hard to beat in Lambeau. I'm hoping for a miracle, but can see us being one and done this Sunday.

I was glad to see Romo playing well.  I think he's so much better than Prescott, but I can see why Dallas would prefer to go with the young healthy QB.

Romo is sort of a sad case. He is a good qb and has value but he has had such serious injuries lately his future is very uncertain. and add to that his big salary and what to do with him is very difficult. The unforeseen element was lucking into a good young qb in the draft. What to do, what to do?
