Joy, the reason why Buff plays in Tor is because they desperately need to regionalize the team.  The population of Buffalo has halved since there inception there.  Also, to help retain season ticket holders that only have to pay for 9 sometimes 8 games a season as opposed to 10 games.  Buffalo is a unique market.  Many factors involved to keep the team viable up there.  In other words a very good candidate to go to L.A.

Thanks for the explanation, Alex.  I knew there had to be a reason out there somewhere.

Thanks Cynthia...  What a crazy, freaky weekend!  We got over a foot of snow, but got through it with power intact.  Sat. night we started hearing limbs & trees cracking & falling (we have wooded watershed property surrounding house) and my husband watched as a huge tree limb (size of a small tree)land on top of his truck.  It was so large, it took both him and my oldest son to take it off.  Miraculously, the snow served as a cushion and there were only a small dent on the truck.  Then, come Sunday morning, storms over & I'm all excited thinking about the games for the day and the power goes out.  Didn't come back on till 3:00 am this morning.   I missed every game!   I was so upset, I think I scared my husband cuz he got in his truck and drove around looking for a bar w/NFL games, but they all were closed.  I had to settle for an old radio w/AM and listen to a Giant game that was filled w/so much static that my son said it hurt his ears.  He swore it was emitting a high pitch squeal that older people couldn't hear!   Sad to say I didn't hear a thing, but even the dog kept twisting his head the way they do when they look confused.  But at least I heard the entire Giants game, some of the Buffalo, the end of the Steelers/Pats and most of Eagles/Dallas.

The weekend started out crazy too.  Friday night, we heard a bang coming from our inside garage, so my oldest runs downstairs thru the basement and opens the side door to garage and a black bear is inches away from him.  The bear was about to squeeze his fat butt passed my husbands new motorcycle to get to the garbage cans in back.  Thank God it ran off - I think I'd rather face a hungry bear than see what my husband would have turned into if a bear knocked over his new HD.  Gives me chills just thinking about it!

Hope everyone else had a better weekend... and Happy Halloween everyone!

Your welcome Bettyjean. Yes some of the pics I saw on the news about the snow storm looked damaging. Glad ur truck only got a dent instead of more damage. Oh the worst is going w/o football on a Sunday:( ARGH! Well at least u heard the Giants game w/o the squeal. I probably would've done the same thing. LOL:)

Wow about the bear too. I swear it wasn't from Chicago. Ha-ha:) I'm not used to seeing those out here so I probably would've had an accident if u know what I mean. Maybe he was trying to get away from the snow.

I stayed inside all weekend. Have a Happy & Safe Halloween everyone too!

We  got snow, too.  I'm not sure how much we got, but I'd say 8-9 inches.  I still have snow in my yard.  :(   I've lived in Maine all my life and I have never seen this much snow before Halloween.  We lost our power as well, but only for about 5 hours,  and we were able to see the games Sunday.  Poor Betty!  I hope it melts soon!
