On this same line, I have My Sister's Keeper in hardback posted - it had 1 wisher, and she cancelled.  Taken

Jodi Picoult is my favorite author, though i have yet to read this one, as it seems very painful. The Pact is one of the best books I have ever read--of anyone hasn't read JP yet, start with this. I like her books too much, I cannot give them away.

I have read 19 minutes and I thought it was an excellent book (but then again I love all of Jodi Picoults books).  Yes, it was a difficult topic but her style of writing is excellent and had me at the edge of my seat.  I can never put her books down.

Highly Reccommend. This was my first foray into Ms. Picoult's books but she has made me a fan after this one. I could not put it down.

I second Rachel on the suggestion of The Pact as a good one to start with.  That's the book that got me hooked on Jodi Picoult & I've now read several of her books.  Nineteen Minutes is the most recent one that I've read.  I also could not put it down.  Made you see both sides of a tragic situation.  You won't find her books on my PBS shelf, they will stay here in my house.

I had 19 Minutes but I traded it to someone on a box o books swap and now I wish I hadn't  (I have not read it)  At the time I traded it I didn't think that I would like it but the more I hear about it the more I think that maybe I would like it. Someday I will request it and read it---after my TBR pile goes down a little!
