I have some late 1950's - early 1960's Nancy Drew books to list. They have no ISBN numbers. So how do I list them?

From the HC:

To Post a Book Without an ISBN:

  • Click the link "Post a Book Without an ISBN" at the top of the Post Books page.

You will have to fill in the information for your book.

I can see that you've posted a lot of books as you have 55 on your book shelf right now.

Go to the same page as you normally post all those books. On the lower right , just below where the picture of the book normally shows up, you will see this writing:

"If you cannot find the ISBN on the back cover, then look in the book publisher information at the beginning of the book. If you still cannot find an ISBN for your book, then click here."

Click on those last two words and you will be taken to a page where you will enter books without ISBN. It is pretty self-explanatory. If you have a bunch of books it can get a little tedious but you can post a book no matter how old. When you are through the book is assigned a shorter , made-up number andyou will find it on your book shelf. In fact, you can always tell when this type of book is on someone's book shelf because of the shorter number---I think it's 6 digits.

You don't have to but at this point I always scan the book cover and upload to PBS where it will show up in a few days.
